I never set out to write a book—
I did, however set out to be the best version of myself, knowing my life was ultimately in my own hands. Along the way, that pursuit turned me into a gatherer of people, drawn to relationships and shaped by one of the most powerful tools we all carry: conversation.
I love people—yes, even the difficult, unpleasant, and hard-to-please ones. Beneath every personality is a heart worth knowing. The truth is, many of us don’t fully know our own hearts until someone else helps us see them. We need each other to become who we’re meant to be.
This book is simply part of my journey toward that becoming—and an invitation for you to explore your own.

Heartfelt Connections is a journey, and a conversation, that I want to return to over and over again as the author reminds us, practice makes better.

This is the kind of book that reminds you of who you want to be—both for yourself and the people you love. It's heartfelt, practical, faith-anchored, and full of light.

My Story
It wasn’t always this way for me. As a young girl facing hard things, I decided it was simply God and me against the world. What I didn’t realize was that He would take all the messy, painful, beautiful parts of my story and use them for good.
I haven’t done anything extraordinary or world-famous, but I have done something that changed everything: I changed my life. And in doing so, I’ve had the gift of helping others discover their own. A meaningful life grows from self-change, self-discovery, and self-love. While that may sound like a lot of “self,” I promise—the better you become the more you have to offer the world around you.
For a long time, I kept my soul-deep insights close, afraid that sharing them might diminish their significance. But God had other plans. He made it clear that what changed me wasn’t meant to stay with me—it was meant to be given away.
So here I am. There’s nothing I enjoy more than a really good conversation—one where everyone walks away feeling seen, lifted, and maybe even changed a little. I’m passionate about helping people learn how to have those courageous, honest and thoughtful conversations, not just with others, but with themselves. Your world truly can change by the way you speak, listen, and connect.
I’m no stranger to being different—from having an unusual name, to being left-handed, loving to weed, eating beets without apology, and savoring deep conversations like some people savor dessert.
And I believe this with all my heart: our world doesn’t need more things—it needs more of what matters most.
People. Hearts. Connection.
These are the longest-lasting treasures we’ll ever have.
